Industry members participate in Clean Green WHS Training

Prior to the beginning of the 2014-2015 Northern Zone Rock Lobster season commencing on the first of November 2014, Industry members from across the Northern Zone participated in a day of WHS training.

The training was held on the 14th of October in Port Lincoln and 15th of October in Adelaide. Two, one day training sessions were held to enable owners, skippers and deckhands from across the zone to attend.

The focus of the training was the WH&S and Safety Standard, Industry Task and Hazard Analysis, Vessel Safety Management System (SMS) and Induction and training requirementsthat are part of the industry Clean Green Standard.

Southern Rock Lobster Inc owns and co-ordinates the delivery of the Clean Green program which is the industry’s vehicle to train and maintain industry operations at world’s best practice standards.
